Ana Gonzales bio

Ana Gonzalez de Jorgenson grew up in Mexico in a family who was devoted to music. Her childhood was spent listening to classical and old boleros, and the traditional songs of romantics and ranchero. Ana loves the operas and tangos along with all dramatic performances. Her mother teaches her how to sing, but she started more intense vocal training with Flavio Belcerra, who was 16 at the time when Belcerra was an internationally acclaimed Mexican opera singer and tenor. She continued her musical training at the School of Music of Guadalajara University and later at the School of Sacred Music, Toluca. She performed at Guadalajara, Mexico City and various cities while a musician and student. Following her move from Mexico to the United States around 2000, she performed for the Fort Lauderdale Symphony Chorus. She performs solo Latin American music for private occasions and is a part of Ensemble XXI in Redlands. as a music teacher and musician she has volunteered for various community-based projects due to her enthusiasm and passion for music. Ana is also a past participant in the Community Chorus of Redlands, the Inland Master Chorale, and the Performance Loft. Ana thank Inland Master Chorale members for the permission to sing the traditional Latin American song.
