Rosalia
Rosalia Vila (aka Rosalia) is a Spanish flamenco and pop vocalist. Since she was a teenager Rosalia has explored the fringes of both pop and traditional music. Pepe Habichuela has described her vocals as crisp and sweet but possessing a bit of bite. El Mal Querer gained her critical acclaim and commercial success when her debut album Los Angeles was released in 2017. This album won her the Latin Grammy Award for Best New Artist. The hit single La Fama featuring the Weeknd came out in 2021. Motomami featured songwriting partnerships with a variety of artists, including Cory Henry, James Blake and others. The set was released following Saturday Night Live's performance of Chicken Teriyaki. Rosalia was the very first Spanish artist to appear in a solo performance on the show. Motomami's Rosalia, who won an award for the Latin Album of the Year as well as three Latin Grammy Awards in total for Motomami and was the first woman in history to be awarded this award.
